What a “result” is on an exchange

On BetPro, a result is not the score on TV. It is settlement — the moment the platform marks a market as won or lost and moves money between the users who backed and laid it. Until a market is settled, your stake or liability sits in Exposure and your balance does not change, no matter what the scorecard says. That gap between “the match is over” and “my balance moved” is where every “betpro results” and “betpro fast result” search comes from.

This guide covers how each market type settles, how long it takes, what happens in rain, abandonments and retirements, why the credited amount is smaller than the win, and how to dispute a settlement. It assumes you have a BetPro account in Pakistan; if not, a BetPro ID is a five-minute job.

“Fast result” is a search, not a service

Some sites advertise “BetPro fast result” as if there were a quicker channel for finding out whether you won. There is not. Settlement happens inside the platform, in a queue, after the official result — and the only place your settlement shows is your own dashboard (My Bets → Settled, and the statement). A third-party page cannot show your settlement before your account does. What those pages offer is a live scorecard with the platform’s name attached, and sometimes a “dealer” in the comments.

How each market settles

Two things stand out. First, casino is instant because the game itself is the settlement. Second, everything on cricket waits for an official source — the platform will not settle Match Odds on a TV graphic if the scorecard has not updated, which is why a rain-affected finish or a DLS calculation adds time.

From the desk’s sample of users’ settlements across August 2026: median Match Odds settlement was 6 minutes after the result, and the slowest 5% took over 40 minutes — all on nights with multiple high-liquidity matches.

Reading the settled result

In My Bets → Settled, each bet shows the market, your side (back/lay), stake, price, result and profit/loss. In the statement, each settled market appears as a line: the net P&L for that market, and a separate commission line if you won. The dashboard guide walks through every figure; the two that confuse people most are:

• A back bet marked “lost” on a team that won. Check the market — you may have bet a session or fancy on the same match, not Match Odds.
• A credited amount lower than the win. Commission. See below.

Commission: why PKR 1,000 becomes PKR 970

Exchanges charge a commission on net winnings per market, typically 2–3% on BetPro depending on your panel. A PKR 1,000 net profit on Match Odds credits as PKR 970–980. Losing markets pay no commission. If you had several bets on one market that netted to a loss, no commission. The statement shows it as its own line, so it is always visible. Rain, abandonments, DLS and retirements

Cricket produces more edge cases than any other sport, and the platform’s settlement rules follow the industry’s:

• Match abandoned, no result. Match Odds void; stakes and liabilities returned. Sessions already completed stand; the incomplete session is void.
• Result decided by DLS. Match Odds settles on the official DLS result. Innings-runs markets settle on runs actually scored, not the DLS target.
• Overs reduced. A “1st 10 overs runs” session still settles if 10 overs were bowled; if the innings was cut to 8, the session is void.
• Retired hurt. For fancy markets on player runs, a retired-hurt batter is treated as not out and the market usually stands on runs scored, unless the panel’s rules say otherwise for that market.
• Super Over. Match Odds settles on the Super Over winner; innings and session markets settle on the main match only.
• Tie (no Super Over). Match Odds has a Tie option on some panels; where it does not, the market is void.

Session and fancy markets covers the market-specific definitions, which are the source of most “wrong result” complaints — a session labelled “1st 6 overs” means overs 0.1–6.0 of the first innings, not both.

Why a result can look wrong and isn’t

From the desk’s complaint log, in order of frequency:

1. Wrong market. The user bet a session and is reading the match result.
2. Wrong innings. A second-innings session read against the first-innings score.
3. Retirement or DLS applied per the rules above.
4. Commission mistaken for a short payment.
5. An unmatched bet that never became a bet at all — nothing to settle.

Genuine settlement errors — a market settled on the wrong side — do happen, rarely, and the panel corrects them. That is the last category, and the smallest.

How to dispute a settlement

1. Within 24 hours of settlement, message the desk with: the match, the exact market name, your bet slip (screenshot from My Bets), and a link to the official scorecard.
2. The desk checks the market definition against the scorecard. If the settlement is wrong, it is escalated to the panel, which re-settles the market for everyone.
3. If the settlement is right under the rules, the desk explains which rule applied.

From result to withdrawal

Once a market settles, the profit is in your balance and can be withdrawn immediately — there is no waiting period after a win. The minimum withdrawal is PKR 1,000, to a wallet in your own name; the desk’s median in August 2026 was 38 minutes to Easypaisa/JazzCash. Withdrawal limits and time. A settlement, line by line

A user backs Karachi at 1.95 for PKR 2,000 in Match Odds and lays Lahore’s first-innings runs at the 168 line for PKR 1,000 (liability PKR 1,000). Lahore make 172; Karachi chase it down.

• First-innings session settles at the end of Lahore’s innings: the lay of 168 loses (172 > 168). Exposure down PKR 1,000, gone. Statement line: −1,000.
• Match Odds settles six minutes after the winning run: the back at 1.95 wins. Profit PKR 1,900; commission 2.5% on net winnings for the market = PKR 47.50. Balance up by 2,000 + 1,900 − 47.50 = PKR 3,852.50. Statement lines: +1,900 and −47.50.
• Net for the evening: +PKR 852.50. The balance shows it; the statement explains it.

Casino settlement, briefly

Casino rounds have no queue: the game engine settles the moment the round ends, and the balance moves instantly. That immediacy is also the risk — there is no pause in which to reconsider, and a losing streak on a live table can move a balance faster than a month of cricket. Where settlement times come from

The desk logs the time between the official result of a match and the moment Match Odds shows as settled for its users, from users’ screenshots and the panel’s timestamps. The August 2026 sample: 412 matches, median 6 minutes, 90th percentile 22 minutes, slowest 41 minutes (a PSL night with an international running simultaneously). Session and fancy markets are not separately timed because they settle within the innings; disputes on them are logged instead, and were 7% of all complaints in the period.
