How a BetPro ID Works, Start to Finish

Verified by our team Updated 7 min read

Quick answer

A BetPro ID is one login that gives you a wallet and access to exchange markets. You request the ID, test it, fund it from Easypaisa or JazzCash, then back or lay outcomes against other users rather than against a bookmaker. Positions settle after the event and you withdraw to the same wallet you funded from.

BACK Pakistan @ 1.80 · PKR 1,000"Pakistan will win"Pakistan win → +PKR 800Pakistan lose → −PKR 1,000Risk = stakeLAY Pakistan @ 1.80 · PKR 1,000"Pakistan will not win"Pakistan win → −PKR 800Pakistan lose → +PKR 1,000Risk (liability) = stake × (odds − 1)
Same price, opposite sides. Back risk = stake; lay risk = stake × (odds − 1).
Key factsLast verified 26 September 2026
  • One ID covers cricket, casino and the wallet — there is no second account
  • An exchange matches you against other users, not against a house price
  • Back = you think it happens. Lay = you think it does not
  • Odds move because supply and demand move, not because someone sets them
  • Commission is charged on net winnings in a market, not on every bet
  • Money returns to the wallet you funded from, in your own name

What makes an exchange different from a normal betting site?

On a normal betting site, the company publishes a price and you either take it or you do not. The company is on the other side of every bet, so its price includes a margin that pays for the building.

An exchange does not do that. It puts users on both sides and takes a small cut of the winnings for running the match-making. Somebody has to be willing to take the opposite side of your position before your bet exists at all — which is why you sometimes see “unmatched” next to a stake. It is not an error; it means nobody has taken your price yet.

Two practical consequences follow from this, and they are the whole reason people move to exchanges:

  • Prices are usually a little better, because there is no house margin baked in — just the commission on winnings.
  • You can take the “no” side. On a normal site you can only back things to happen. On an exchange you can lay — stand on the side that says it will not happen — which is a position a bookmaker would normally take.

What is a BetPro ID, in this system?

Your ID is your seat. It holds three things: your wallet balance, your open positions, and your history. There is no separate casino account and no separate wallet login — one username covers all of it.

The ID has no money in it when it is created, and it is not linked to your CNIC. What it is linked to is the WhatsApp number you gave at setup, because that is how the desk confirms it is you if you ever lose the password.

How does a back position work?

You back an outcome when you think it will happen.

Say Pakistan are priced at 1.80 to win. You back PKR 1,000 at 1.80. Two things can happen:

  • Pakistan win. You get your PKR 1,000 back plus PKR 800 profit, minus commission on the profit.
  • Pakistan lose. The PKR 1,000 is gone.

Your maximum loss on a back is the stake. That is the number to look at before confirming — not the potential return.

How does a lay position work?

You lay an outcome when you think it will not happen. This is the side a bookmaker normally takes, and it is the part that surprises people first.

Lay PKR 1,000 at 1.80 on Pakistan and it flips:

  • Pakistan lose (your position is right). You keep PKR 1,000 minus commission.
  • Pakistan win. You pay out PKR 800.

Note the asymmetry: on a lay, the amount you can win is the stake, and the amount you can lose is the liability — stake × (odds − 1). At low odds that liability is small. At high odds it is large: laying PKR 1,000 at 8.0 risks PKR 7,000 to win PKR 1,000. The dashboard shows the liability before you confirm. Read that number, every time, and lay positions stop being frightening.

Why do the odds move?

Because nobody sets them. They are the prices other users are currently willing to accept, and they change the instant the balance of opinion changes.

In a cricket match the big movers are wickets, the run rate against the required rate, a rain interruption, and the toss. A single wicket in a chase can move a price further than any other event in the game. You will also see gradual drift in the hours before play as team news arrives.

This matters practically: the price you saw ten seconds ago may not be the price you get. If a market is moving fast, the system may show your bet unmatched, and you either wait or adjust.

What can you see inside the account?

  • Balance — money available to stake.
  • Exposure — money currently held in open positions. It is not spent, but it is not free either.
  • Unmatched bets — offers you have made that nobody has taken. You can cancel these.
  • Profit and loss — per market, and overall.
  • Statement — every deposit, withdrawal, stake and settlement, with a timestamp.

The statement is the one to learn. When anything is ever in doubt — a deposit that looks missing, a settlement you did not expect — the statement resolves it faster than any conversation, because every line carries a time.

How does commission work?

Commission is charged on net winnings in a market, not on every bet you place. If you have three positions in one match and finish down overall, there is nothing to pay. If you finish up, a small percentage of that profit is deducted when the market settles.

This is why exchange prices look better than bookmaker prices on the screen but land closer in practice — the cost is taken after you win rather than built into the price before you bet.

What happens after the event?

Settlement is automatic. Once the official result is in, the system closes the market, returns winnings to available balance and releases the exposure. For most cricket markets this happens within minutes of the final ball.

Sometimes a market sits unsettled longer. The usual reasons are an official result that has not been confirmed, a rain-adjusted outcome, or a disputed dismissal. If a market is still open an hour after everyone agrees on the result, send the market name and the time to the desk and it can be chased.

What does the desk do, and what do you control?

Worth being exact about this, because the split is not obvious.

The desk handles: opening the ID, activating it, resetting passwords when you are locked out, matching a deposit receipt to your ID, releasing withdrawals, and answering questions about how something works.

You control: your password, every position you place, how much you fund, and when you stop. Nobody else places a bet in your account. If a position appears that you did not place, that is a password problem, not a platform problem — go straight to account security.

Nobody controls: the odds. They are the market.

What happens when you withdraw?

You request an amount of PKR 1,000 or more, and it goes back to the wallet you funded from — in your own name. Same name, same number, both directions. That rule exists so that money cannot be routed out of an account to a third party, and it is not negotiable.

Withdrawal requests are processed in the order they arrive. Bank transfers take longer and are subject to banking hours. The withdrawal guide has the limits, the timings and what to do when one is slower than expected.

One thing worth knowing in advance: if you took a first-deposit offer, there is usually a rollover condition attached, and it can hold up a withdrawal until it is met. That is why it is worth asking about offer terms before accepting one, not after.

How should you use the account sensibly?

The mechanics above are the easy part. The habits are what actually decide whether this stays enjoyable:

  • Decide a monthly number before you start, and treat it as spent the moment you deposit it.
  • Check the liability on every lay before confirming. It is on screen for a reason.
  • Read the statement weekly, not just when something looks wrong.
  • Never chase a loss with a bigger stake. The market does not know you are behind.
  • Stop when it stops being fun. There is always another match.

If you want to set hard limits on your own play, the play in control page has the practical tools.

Step by step

  1. Request the ID

Register yourself on the portal or send your name and preferred ID name to the desk. Setup is free and nothing is charged for the ID itself.

  2. Receive the login details

You get a username and password. Nothing else is needed to sign in — no documents, no verification queue.

  3. Test the ID before funding

Sign in once with a zero balance and confirm the dashboard loads. This proves the ID is live before any money is involved.

  4. Secure the credentials

Change any password that was sent to you, store it in a password manager, and keep one support conversation only.

  5. Fund the wallet

Send PKR 500 or more from Easypaisa or JazzCash in your own name, keep the receipt, and send it to the desk. The balance updates within a few minutes.

  6. Take a position in a market

Pick a market, choose back or lay, enter a stake and confirm. The amount is held from your balance until the market settles.

  7. Let the market settle

After the event the market settles automatically. Winning positions return the stake plus profit minus commission; losing positions do not return.

  8. Withdraw to your wallet

Request a withdrawal of PKR 1,000 or more to the same wallet you funded from. Requests are processed in the order they arrive.

BetPro Exchange aik marketplace hai. Aam bookmaker mein rate company set karti hai, exchange mein rate doosray users banate hain aur system donon ko match kar deta hai. Back ka matlab hai aap keh rahe hain ke yeh hoga; lay ka matlab hai aap keh rahe hain ke yeh nahin hoga. Har matched bet mein aik back aur aik lay hota hai. Rate is liye badalta rehta hai kyunke woh live demand par chalta hai — wicket girte hi number hil jata hai. Commission sirf us market ke net munafay par lagta hai, har bet par nahin. Match ke baad market khud settle hoti hai aur paisa usi wallet mein wapas jata hai jahan se aaya tha.

Frequently asked questions

What is BetPro Exchange in simple words?

It is a marketplace for outcomes. Instead of a bookmaker setting a price and you taking it or leaving it, users post prices to each other and the system matches them. Your BetPro ID is your seat in that marketplace.

What is the difference between BetPro and BPExch?

They are the same platform. BPExch is the shorter name used on the app and in the dashboard; BetPro is the name most people search for. One ID works on both — there is nothing separate to open.

What does back and lay mean?

Back means you take the position that something will happen. Lay means you take the position that it will not — effectively standing on the other side of someone else's back. Every matched bet has one of each.

Why do the odds keep moving?

Because they are live prices set by what other users are willing to accept. A wicket, a rain delay or a big stake arriving all shift what people will offer, and the number moves within seconds.

How does commission work?

Commission is charged on net winnings within a market, not on turnover. If you finish a market down, there is no commission. If you finish up, a small percentage of the profit is deducted at settlement.

How long does settlement take after a match?

Most cricket markets settle within minutes of the official result. Occasionally a market waits for an official confirmation — a disputed dismissal or a rain-adjusted result — and that can take longer.

Can I use one BetPro ID on two devices?

You can sign in from a phone and a laptop, but not usefully at the same time — the newer session generally pushes the older one out. If you did not open the second session yourself, change the password immediately.

Does the desk place bets for me?

No, and you should not want it to. The desk opens the ID, helps with login problems and matches deposits and withdrawals. Every position in the account is placed by whoever is logged in.
