What Is BetPro Exchange?

Verified by our teamPublished Updated 6 min read

Quick answer

BetPro Exchange, also written BPExch, is a betting exchange used across Pakistan. The difference from a normal betting site is structural: an exchange matches users against each other instead of against a house price, so you can take either side of an outcome and the margin is smaller. One BetPro ID covers cricket, casino and the wallet.

BACK Pakistan @ 1.80 · PKR 1,000"Pakistan will win"Pakistan win → +PKR 800Pakistan lose → −PKR 1,000Risk = stakeLAY Pakistan @ 1.80 · PKR 1,000"Pakistan will not win"Pakistan win → −PKR 800Pakistan lose → +PKR 1,000Risk (liability) = stake × (odds − 1)
Same price, opposite sides. Back risk = stake; lay risk = stake × (odds − 1).
Key factsLast verified 26 September 2026
  • BetPro and BPExch are the same platform, two names
  • An exchange matches users against each other, not against a house
  • You can take either side — that a thing happens, or that it does not
  • Commission is charged on net winnings, not on every bet
  • One ID covers cricket, casino and the wallet
  • Opening an ID is free; you can look around at zero balance

The one-paragraph answer

BetPro Exchange in Pakistan — written BPExch in the app and the dashboard — is a betting exchange used widely across the country. The word exchange is doing the work in that sentence: instead of a company publishing a price and taking the other side of your bet, users are matched against each other, and the platform earns a commission on winnings for arranging it.

That one structural difference produces everything else worth knowing.

What “exchange” actually changes

On a normal betting site, the company is your counterparty. It sets a price, that price includes a margin that pays for the business, and you either accept it or you don’t.

An exchange removes the company from the middle. Someone else has to be willing to take the opposite side of your position before your bet exists at all. Two consequences follow:

Prices carry no house margin. The number you see is what another user will accept, not a number adjusted in the platform’s favour. The platform’s income arrives later, as commission on winnings.

You can take the “no” side. On a normal site you can only back things to happen. On an exchange you can lay — take the position that something will not happen. That is the side a bookmaker normally occupies, and on an exchange it is available to you.

This is also why you sometimes see “unmatched” beside a stake. It is not a fault. It means your offer is sitting there and nobody has taken it yet.

Back and lay, in thirty seconds

Back = you think it happens. Back PKR 1,000 at 1.80: if it happens you get your 1,000 back plus 800 profit (minus commission); if not, the 1,000 is gone. Your worst case is the stake.

Lay = you think it does not happen. Lay PKR 1,000 at 1.80: if it does not happen you keep 1,000; if it does, you pay 800.

The catch worth knowing before you ever place one: on a lay, what you can win is the stake, and what you can lose is the liability — stake × (odds − 1). At 1.8 that’s modest. At 8.0, laying PKR 1,000 risks PKR 7,000. The dashboard shows the liability before you confirm, and reading that number is the single most valuable habit on the platform.

Worked cricket examples are in back and lay explained.

Why the odds never sit still

Because nobody sets them. They are live prices reflecting what other users will currently accept, so they move the instant opinion moves.

In cricket the big movers are wickets — especially during a chase, where one dismissal shifts a price further than any other single event — plus the run rate against the required rate, rain interruptions, and the toss. Between deliveries prices drift; between a wicket and the next ball they jump.

Practically: the price you saw ten seconds ago may not be the price you get.

How commission works

Commission is charged on net winnings within a market, not on turnover.

Three positions in one match that net out to a loss cost you nothing in commission. A market you finish ahead on has a small percentage taken from the profit at settlement.

This is why exchange prices look better on screen than bookmaker prices but land closer in practice — the cost arrives after a win rather than being priced in before the bet.

BetPro or BPExch — which is it?

Both. They are the same platform under two names.

BPExch is the compressed form, used inside the app and across the dashboard interface. BetPro is the fuller name, and it is overwhelmingly what people type and say. Neither is wrong; they just settled into different places.

The practical point: one ID works on both, and seeing the other name is not a reason to open a second account. More on this in BetPro vs BPExch.

What one BetPro ID gives you

A single username and password covers:

  • Cricket markets — match odds, and the in-play markets that move during a game
  • Casino tables — same balance, no separate login
  • Your wallet — funding in, withdrawals out
  • Your statement — every deposit, stake, settlement and withdrawal, timestamped

There is no second registration for the casino, no separate wallet account, and nothing to link together. You will also see it called a BetPro ID and a BetPro account — same thing, two words people use interchangeably.

What it costs to find out

Opening an ID is free, and it opens with a zero balance.

That combination is more useful than it sounds, because it means you can answer “is this for me?” without spending anything. Sign in, open a cricket market, watch the prices move for ten minutes, click through the casino tab. Nothing is at stake while the balance is zero, and ten minutes of clicking teaches more than any explainer — including this one.

When you do decide to fund it, the minimum is PKR 500 by Easypaisa or JazzCash.

Who it suits, and who it doesn’t

It suits you if you want prices without a built-in house margin, you want the option of taking either side of an outcome, and you are comfortable reading a liability figure before confirming a lay.

It doesn’t suit you if you want a platform that tells you what to bet on. An exchange is a marketplace, not a tipster — nobody on it is predicting anything for you, and anyone claiming to guarantee outcomes is selling something that does not exist.

Where to go next

اردو میں سمجھیں — Urdu mein samjhein

BetPro Exchange — jise BPExch bhi likha jata hai — aik betting exchange hai jo Pakistan mein istemal hoti hai. Aam betting site aur exchange mein bunyadi farq yeh hai: aam site par rate company banati hai aur aap us ke khilaf khelte hain; exchange par rate doosray users banate hain aur system dono ko match kar deta hai. Is ka matlab yeh hai ke rate mein company ka margin shamil nahin hota, aur aap dono taraf le sakte hain — yeh hoga, ya yeh nahin hoga. Commission sirf us market ke net munafay par lagta hai, har bet par nahin. Aik hi ID cricket, casino aur wallet — teenon kholti hai, aur ID banwana bilkul free hai.

Frequently asked questions

What is BetPro Exchange in one sentence?

It is a marketplace for outcomes: instead of a company setting a price and you taking it or leaving it, users post prices to each other and the platform matches them, taking a commission on winnings for doing so.

What is the difference between BetPro Exchange and a regular bookmaker?

A bookmaker is on the other side of your bet and builds a margin into its price. An exchange puts another user on the other side instead and charges commission on winnings. That means prices carry no house margin, and you can take the 'it will not happen' side, which a bookmaker never lets you do.

Is BetPro the same as BPExch?

Yes — one platform, two names. BPExch is the short form used inside the app and dashboard; BetPro is what most people search and say. One ID works on both, and there is nothing separate to open.

What is a betting exchange?

A platform that matches two users who disagree about an outcome, rather than taking a position itself. One backs it to happen, the other lays it not to, and the platform earns commission from whoever ends up ahead.

What does one BetPro ID give me access to?

One username and password covers the cricket markets, the casino tables, your wallet and your full transaction statement. There is no second account for the casino and no separate wallet login.

Do I need to deposit money to look around?

No. An ID opens with a zero balance and stays that way until you fund it. You can sign in, open a cricket market and watch the prices move without anything being at stake.

Why do the odds keep changing?

Because nobody sets them. They are the prices other users are currently willing to accept, so a wicket, a rain break or a large stake arriving all move the number within seconds.

What does 'unmatched' mean on my bet?

Nobody has taken the other side of your price yet. It is not an error — an exchange needs two users to pair up. You can wait, cancel it, or adjust the price to something the market will accept.

What does BetPro Exchange cost to join?

Nothing. Opening an ID is free and so is support. The only money involved is your own funding, which starts at PKR 500 and is entirely your decision and timing.
