Self-Registration or WhatsApp: Which Route Should You Use?

There are two ways to get a BetPro ID, and a lot of people assume there is only one — usually because the first site they landed on offered only WhatsApp.

Both routes are free. Both create exactly the same ID, with the same markets, the same limits and the same support afterwards. So the choice is about how you want it to happen, not about what you end up with.

Speed is the obvious difference and it is not the important one. The important one is this:

When you self-register, the password never exists inside a chat.

You type it, it is yours, and nobody else ever saw it. When the desk opens the ID for you, it has to send you a starting password — which means for a period of time, that password sits in a message thread held by two parties.

This is not a reason to distrust the desk. It is a reason to change the password on the first day, which is one minute of work and is the standing advice either way. But if you would rather the situation never arose at all, self-registration is how you avoid it.

When WhatsApp is genuinely the better choice

Self-registration is not automatically right for everyone. Use the desk when:

• You want a person alongside you. Some people simply prefer it, and there is nothing wrong with that.
• Your username keeps coming back taken. The desk can check several at once rather than you retrying a form.
• You want a dealer, master or super master ID. These need an opening float agreed in advance, so they do not exist as a self-service form. This route is the only one.
• Something about the form is not working on your device or connection.

How to register on BetPro via WhatsApp

If you take this route, one message does it:

“Hi — I’d like a new BetPro ID. Name: Bilal. Preferred ID name: bilal47, or bilal4721 / ranabilal09 if those are taken.”

That is everything needed. The desk checks availability, opens the ID and sends back the username and password. Three name options in the first message is the difference between one reply and three.

Two rules for this route:

1. Use the published number only, and save it as a contact. Not a number forwarded in a group, not a second conversation running in parallel.
2. Nothing else is required. No CNIC photo, no wallet PIN, no OTP, no payment. If any of those come up, the request did not come from this desk.

How self-registration works

Open the portal, enter a username, a password and a mobile number, submit. That is it — the ID is live in about two minutes and you were never waiting on anybody.

You still have a support desk. Self-registering does not mean going it alone: password resets, deposit matching and payment questions work identically whichever route opened the account.

Whatever you chose, the next three steps are the same and they matter more than the route did:

1. Sign in once at zero balance. Confirm the dashboard loads before any money is involved.
2. Bookmark the sign-in page yourself, and use only that bookmark afterwards.
3. Change the password if it was issued to you. One minute, from inside the dashboard.

Then fund when you are ready — from PKR 500, from a wallet in your own name.

“I don’t want to message a stranger”

This comes up often enough to answer directly: it is a reasonable instinct, and you do not have to.

You can open a BetPro ID, fund it, use it and withdraw from it without ever starting a conversation with anyone. The support number exists if you want it — it is not a gate you have to pass through.

That is the practical argument for self-registration, and it is why the option exists at all.
