BetPro vs BPExch: Are They the Same Thing?

This question comes up constantly, usually in one of two forms: “I have a BetPro ID, do I need a BPExch one too?” or “the app says BPExch but I signed up for BetPro — is this right?”

The short answer: they are the same platform. One account, two names.

Why are there two names at all?

Platforms often carry a formal name and a short one, and both end up in circulation. Here, BPExch is the compressed form — it is what appears inside the app, in the dashboard header and on parts of the interface. BetPro is the fuller name, and it is overwhelmingly what people type into a search box and say out loud.

Neither is wrong. They just settled into different places: BPExch in the product, BetPro in conversation.

What this means practically

One username and password covers markets, casino and wallet. There is no second registration, no linking step, and nothing to activate.

Where you will see each name

• The Android app — usually labelled or branded BPExch.
• The dashboard — BPExch in the interface, sometimes BetPro in the page title.
• Search results and conversation — almost always BetPro.
• BP Exchange Wallet — the funding and registration side of the same system. This one confuses people most, because “wallet” sounds like a separate product. It is not; it is where deposits and withdrawals are handled for the account you already have.

The one case where the difference matters

Names are cheap. Anyone can call anything BetPro or BPExch, and that is exactly what makes “is this the real one?” the wrong question to ask about a name.

When you are downloading an app or clicking a login link, do not evaluate the name at all. Evaluate the source:

• Install the app only from the official download page, never from a file forwarded in a group.
• Log in only from a bookmark you saved yourself, never from a link in a message.
• If a page or file looks different from last time, stop and ask on the one support number you already use.

A convincing name proves nothing. A source you established yourself proves everything.

The mistake this confusion actually causes

Every so often someone opens a second ID because they saw the other name and assumed they needed one.

That is worth avoiding, because it creates three real problems:

1. Your balance splits across two accounts.
2. Your history splits, so your statement no longer tells the whole story.
3. Recovery gets harder — two accounts with overlapping details are slower to verify than one clean account.

If you see the other name and feel uncertain, the right move is to sign in with the ID you already have and confirm it works. It will.

What about the app being labelled differently?

If you download from the official page and the installed app shows BPExch while you expected BetPro, that is normal. Sign in with your existing details.

What is not normal: a file that arrived in a chat, a download that redirects somewhere unexpected, or a file dramatically different in size from the official one (around 15 MB). Those are worth stopping for — not because of the name on them, but because of where they came from.
